I just pinched my forehead trying to not explode in anger "And the second mistake?" I asked with an annoyed tone.
"Celes-chan the person in charge of creating the system instead of creating what I asked for, created something similar yet different," He said with a defeated expression.
"And what exactly did she create?" I asked with a little fear.
"A mercenary system, in essence, they are the same but the main difference is that you need to find the people to join the group but there is a problem..."

After listening to Kazuma's words I just sighted with a defeated expression. "Besides I think that I know this world better than the DXD, I mean my main problem would be a nose-less idiot with daddy issues, his groupies, and the guy who made his relationship problems the problem of everyone, maybe the ministry but I don't want to be involved in politics. That's a win in my book considering that I could get in problems with literally demons and gods."
"Well it's good that you can see the bright side to be honest I expected you to be a lot more pissed," Kazuma said with a curious look.
"Anyway, about your gifs, we decided to give you 2 traits, the first one basically lets you overcome your limits but doesn't erase them and the second lets you learn almost any 'mystery' if we talk with Nasuverse terminology, but you still need to have some sort of affinity there are more details about this two but you can check them when the system is unlocked"
"Isn't that a little too OP? I thought that you needed to be careful with all that karma shit and whatever you said, can't I buy things to overcome my limits?" I asked really curious if these gifts will give me problems in the future.
"Well it would be a problem indeed if we had given you unlimited potential and instant mastery but since the traits have limits and conditions they are still what we can give you without issues." Kazuma
"And while it's true that you can buy those things they are expensive so you can expect to buy them every time that you hit a development wall"
"Well this seems too good in comparison to what you received, I mean when you went to another world they only gave you one option to take, even if at the end of the day you took Aqua."
Kazuma gave me a sad smile" Kid our circumstances are way too different."
"How so?"
"Well for starters I wasn't the only one that could have defeated the Demon Lord, if something went wrong they could just summon another unlucky guy and my world wasn't that dangerous, to begin with, and there were more ways to get stronger than regular worlds thanks to the guild cards"
"Can't you do the same with me? I mean, to be honest, I'm not that special and why you simply gave me a system and use those karma points to acquire skills and level up? I mean your world has them?" I asked rather curious, I mean in a way that would make things way easier and less complicated.
Kazuma made a mildly annoyed expression "Do you think that sending someone to different worlds across the Omniverse is that easy? One of the reasons we choose you is that your soul is special, it can travel without a problem between worlds without being rejected or tainted so it would work as a protection measure for the other members with the help of the system so without a soul like yours the system wouldn't efficiently work, so no we can't get another person for this work, so it would take a lot of time and resources to find another person and in the meantime, we would be fucked and answering your second question if we had sent you to just one universe and you stayed there forever it would be possible to do, but since you will travel to a lot of different universes we cannot be sure that you will catch the eye of someone with the ability to temporarily disconnect you from the system and make you useless, that's the reason that the system you have it's at most and interphase"
Well now I understand why they gave so many benefits even if they made a mistake at the start and now it makes a lot of sense why they just gave me a stupid system like those fanfiction, but to be honest I like it that way, who knows if the system would be sentiment and would have me an unreasonable quest, here at least I can reject some without too serious risk.
"So kid, is safe we don't want you to have a stupid death and start once again," Kazuma said with a mocking smile.
I got slightly annoyed by that but I returned him a mocking smile."Says the guy who died by pissing his pants"
I could hear Kazuma's blood pressure increasing "That's a low blow kid, I thought I was saving a person from dying!"
Kazuma yelled at me for over 15 minutes before he calmed down.

After a few minutes I could calm myself, God it was a horrible experience.

"Now that everything is clear we need to open your circuits so you can have access to the system and 'install' your skills afterward we are going to summon your servant so I can give you your legal papers so I can go, so please sit in a lotus position, close your eyes and think of something that can be your mental trigger"
I did as Kazuma said and started thinking about what to use as a mental trigger, I know that every magus has a different trigger, Shirou's trigger is to fire the hammer of a gun, and Rin's is stabbing her heart with a knife.
I stayed for a few minutes but nothing came to my mind until I remember my high school years when I used to smoke because I thought that it made me look 'cool'...
Seriously what an idiot I was but that gave me the mental trigger I needed.

"Wait what...." But I couldn't end the sentence as a wave of pain started to invade my body.

I didn't waste my time and started to imagine the trigger I decided: Uncover a Zippo lighter and light it.
I keep imagining that for an unknown amount of time suddenly the pain increased and a lot of information began to overwhelm my brain.

The summoning circle started to light up

Rotate the three-branched road reaching the Kingdom."
The light got even stronger and I barely could keep my eyes open.
– I shall declare here. Your body shall serve under me. My fate shall be with your sword. Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail. If you will submit to this will and this reason... then answer!
– An oath shall be sworn here! I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven. I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell!
– From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three great words of power, come forth from the ring of restraint, Protector of the Balance"
After I finished the incantation the room got consumed by a blinding light
After a few seconds, the light died out and the room was surrounded by a mist made of mana and behind that, a silhouette could be seen.
"I ask you. Are you my master?"
