Capítulo 142: He Was There

The woman frowned at his arrogant words. She was about to rebuke him but when she turned to look at him this time, he was not an ordinary noble anymore.

His face had changed and he.. Was… the emperor, his majesty, the ruler of the empire. She could not believe that she was trying to flirt with him.

Her whole body froze and all the blood drained out of her body. Her face turned white as a sheet. 

It was not only her who was shocked, every face looked the same.

As if time had stopped for them and so did their breathing, they did not believe their eyes at all.

Many pinched themselves to make sure that it was not an illusion but in the end, Leo was still standing in front of them.

Ren did not understand what happened. She had just thought that they did not recognize her father because they have neve seen him since Leo hardly goes out in the market for shopping.

But now.. She was not sure anymore.
