In a single line, Daphne reversed the whole situation.
She knew that she didn't have time to dwell on Korbin's potential betrayal at the moment. She would have to face it later, but Meira was a central portion to her own plan.
If it truly happened that Korbin had been lying this entire time, then Meira would be her own bargaining chip, a side of the "alliance" that was uniquely hers.
She wasn't going to give up on this entire board that she struggled so hard to set up for the tragic fate of a girl that she had never met before.
"He keeps it locked in his study, and I haven't been able to find a way in."
