Capítulo 120: A Taste of Mortality

Korbin leaned forward, sliding across the bathtub so that he could be closer to Daphne. It was as if the scalding water had suddenly turned cool or something, and all he wanted to do was to seek out his source of warmth. 

He slightly shivered, feeling the way the cool night air settled on his skin. 

All he wanted to do was to bury himself into her and feel surrounded by her heat. 

"Korbin, the water is going to turn cold." Daphne reminded, motioning to get out and grab a towel to dry off. 

"But the water is still warm enough," he lied, not wanting to leave. She looked so inviting from this perspective…

"It's not good to bathe for too long." Daphne raised her fingers to the air, alarmed by the skin at her fingertips had already shriveled. "I'm beginning to look like a naked mole."
