Capítulo 675: Mourning

Yarin's POV:

I tried my best to attract Lily's attention, and finally, she saw me. She was surprised, of course, because I wasn't supposed to be there.

However, she was intelligent and knew that the only possibility for me to appear here was that reinforcements had arrived. So she put her feet together and hid me behind her shoes. She secretly and vigilantly looked at the young man who seemed to be the mastermind.

I believed he was Karter.

He kept looking at the chaotic scene outside the window as if the power that could make people lose their minds did not affect him.

While he did not notice me, I climbed onto Lily's body and hid behind her ponytail to whisper to her.

"How are you? Are you injured? Did they do anything to you?"

Lily didn't say anything but shook her head subtly. I was small, and my voice was low, but she was too close to Karter.

"Is that person Karter?"

Lily nodded.
