"Why should I go home with you? You can't guarantee me that Delly will stop chasing you, can you?" Becca asked.

That's right, Tommy thought.

He couldn't guarantee that Delly would stop chasing him. But actually, Delly wasn't really after him. Because she wanted to be with him even if only for a moment.
