Capítulo 77: Friends

Once Ben made sure he was alone with Lucas in the car, he unbuttoned Lucas' shirt to create more ventilation for his body.

"When last did you take your meds?" He asked seriously.

"Yesterday..." Lucas smiled.

"Don't you dare smile! How can you smile in a situation like this? You haven't taken your drugs for a whole day, and you expected it to be pain-free?" Ben hissed as he removed the right dosage of drugs from their bottles, "one might think you are doing it on purpose so Dionne will find out."

"You know that's not true," Lucas grunted as he tried to sit up. Ben handed him the drugs together with a bottle of water.

He relaxed and tried to even his breathing knowing that it was only a matter of time before the pain subsided.

"She must be shocked..." Lucas sighed. Ben glanced at him in pity. Even in this state, he thought of no one else but Dionne.

"Do you have another shirt?" Ben pointed at his clothes, "this one is drenched."
