Capítulo 100: The Summon

What are you holding?" asked Sue Terin as soon as she entered the bedroom of Lucien Lupine.

Turning around, Lucien met her halfway to engulf her in a warm hug. "A summon. The High Council is summoning you to prepare for your crowning ceremony."

Kissing her temples, he continued. "I will be there even if you won't see me."

Frowning, Sue Terin distanced herself away from his embrace. "You will be there when I take the crowd. What are you even talking about, Lucien?"

"Lucien Lupine is dead. He died in the Red Moon Tournament, Sue." He cupped her cheeks. "Only Sue Terin lived on that stage that day."

Griping his wrist, her gaze sharpened. "You are going with me and that is final, Lucien. If they can't accept that I let you and Daki live then I rather shove back the prize to them. You and me? We are a team."
