Capítulo 222: Lashing Out

Blake's foot was already raised, he was only one stomp away from breaking Jake's other leg which was still healthy and had its bone intact. But right before Blake jerked his leg downward, he heard a voice calling out to him.

"Brother…" The voice was weak, either it was because she was shocked or she couldn't believe what she was seeing, Amy's voice was barely audible in Blake's ears.

"Yes? What's wrong, Amy?" After saying those words, Blake turned his head back toward the source of the sound. And what he saw greatly puzzled him.

He saw Amy's face was filled with fear as her eyes darted from Blake then toward the screaming boy in front of him. Blake had never seen that look before in Amy, and he wondered why she would look at him like that.

"Is there something wrong?" Blake genuinely asked as he put his raised foot down and walked towards her.

"Don't worry, Amy, he would not be able to bother us again. You should not be afraid of him anymore."
