Capítulo 4: Godsend Effect

"Konnichiwa!" A woman, with fiery red hair and an otherworldly beauty, suddenly entered the room and greeted her fellow lesser god. However, it was clear from the man's scrunched-up face and restless tapping on his low table that he was not pleased with her sudden visitation, however, despite his unease, the man maintained his elegant posture, sitting gracefully on the floor.

"What the fuck are you doing here, bitch?" However the god's crass language was a stark contrast to his divine persona, but the woman didn't seem to mind.

Instead, she gracefully leapt on his table and perched her well-endowed posterior on the surface. Unfortunately, the seated god was not amused and his fury boiled over, causing him to violently flip the table and send the goddess tumbling through the air before landing unceremoniously on her head.

"Ouch! What are you doing to your Imouto, Onii-chan?" With an adorable expression that the goddess had practiced with utmost dedication, she attempted to protest the rough treatment she was receiving with cuteness. However, her pleas were met with deaf ears as the god swiftly swiped the table that fell from under her, causing her to tumble to the floor once again.

"Today is not the day to mess with me, Hana. Or else, I might just decide to mess with you instead. So, what brings you here?" With an irritated tone, the god placed the table back to its original position and poured them some tea, to which the woman made a disgusted face and asked for coffee instead. "Still a creep, Arlon . You haven't changed a bit in all these years. No wonder you're still a virgin."

Arlon felt his eyes twitch in anger at the insulting remark, his blood boiling with rage. However, before he could even react, the woman surprised him by planting a kiss on his lips, causing him to momentarily forget his anger as the tea he had served her rushed into his mouth, his eyes widened even more in surprise, but he didn't dare waste the precious brew he had waited so long to harvest - nor the unexpected kiss he was sharing with her.

"I've heard that you've recently acquired a champion, Arlon . It's been a while since you had one, and I hear he's quite intriguing. Is it true that a higher being visited you on that day?" The woman continuously asked in a seductive tone to Arlon who was still trying to process the sudden kiss and exchange of tea that had just occurred between them.

However after a brief moment of hesitation, Arlos denied the accusation of a higher being visiting him but admitted to finding a new champion to groom. "Hmm, that's a shame. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting him yet. But are you sure he can thrive in your universe, or would you like me to take care of him for a while?" The woman tempted him again with a sweet smile, but he immediately declined after remembering the intense nature of her domain. "He'll be fine, don't worry. I doubt he'll dislike my domain, especially since we share similar likes and hobbies," Arlos replied stoically, ignoring the blatant attempt at seduction.

Hanayumi Himemiko Yumetsuki, a goddess that possessed a name that rolled off the tongue like a poetic melody, is Arlon's unexpected visitor. Though she had ascended to godhood long after Arlon, her reign over her universe had already eclipsed his. With her alluring charm and ethereal beauty, she scoured the multiverse in search of worthy warriors, urging them to pursue greatness under her tutelage.

But the goddess was not without her dark side. Her standards were exacting, and only those who met her exacting criteria would earn the honor of fighting under her banner. Those who fell short would be subjected to a fate worse than death - a universe-wide reset that would obliterate not just the failed contender, but everyone they had encountered or bonded with along their journey. This ruthless cycle allowed Hanayumi Himemiko Yumetsuki to continually groom new champions or dispose of them as she saw fit.

With a benevolent smile, she presented them with an opportunity to start anew, but little did they know that her offer was nothing more than a vicious ruse. It was a snare, designed to lure them in with false hope, only to bring them to their untimely demise or subject them to a life of bondage.

Despite the questionable nature of her champion selection process, Hanayumi Himemiko Yumetsuki did give her contenders the chance to prove their worth, a courtesy not always afforded by other deities. In fact, she poured her resources and attention into the nurturing of her only chosen champion, a stark contrast to the gods who scattered their focus across numerous champions, resulting in lower quality candidates. Even worse were the extreme cases, where gods callously plucked the still-living from their homes, all for the sake of torment and twisted amusement. In comparison, Hanayumi Himemiko Yumetsuki's approach seemed almost humane.

"By the way, did your champion conquer his last universe like your previous one?" Hana asked Arlon in a nonchalant tone, unaffected by her failed attempt to ensnare him. Despite her cool exterior, she couldn't help but be curious about Arlon's latest champion. She knew all too well that her fellow lesser god was extremely discerning and loathed wasting any resources.

The fact that Arlon had accepted her kiss, despite the risk of spilling his tea, spoke volumes about his resourcefulness. It was this quality that enabled his champions to accumulate vast wealth and power with each successive reincarnation.

"And why should I tell you?" Arlon replied with a stern expression, drawing a clear boundary that Hana knew all too well. "You're aware that interfering with another god's champion is taboo, aren't you, Hana? And even though we've been friends for a long time, I won't hesitate to confront you if you cross the line."

Hana couldn't help but be intrigued by Arlon's strong reaction to her question. She had long known about his unwavering principles, but his new champion had clearly struck her nerve.

"Furthermore, my champion hails from a universe devoid of magic or energy," Arlon continued, noticing the mischievous glint in Hana's eyes. He knew all too well how troublesome the goddess could be, but he also understood that she meant no harm. Hana was simply trying to alleviate her boredom by pestering him.

Arlon realized that if he didn't satisfy Hana's curiosity now, she would only continue to bother him in the future. So, he decided to divulge a little more information about his new champion, hoping that it would be enough to quell her inquisitiveness.

"What? No magic, energy, or ki? Are you feeling alright, Arlon?" Hana exclaimed in disbelief, teasing him about his supposed obsession with sword-riding ladyboys. "If what you're saying is true, does that mean you're finally switching over to science and mecha? No! Don't abandon me and become a nerd!"

Arlon couldn't help but feel frustrated by Hana's mocking. He was now trembling with annoyance, feeling as though he couldn't even confide in his friend without being ridiculed.

"Well at least your blond hair, chiseled jaw and buff body like Adonis would look better as a mechanerd than your current look. You look like a Tranny who tried a robe five sizes too small," Hana continued with a lazy expression as she drank her tea while looking at him.

Arlon, who had reached his limit, finally broke and flipped the table again in frustration. "You fucking weeb!" he exclaimed.

"Maybe those worlds exist too," Nomad murmured to himself as he sat inside a classroom, his body trembling after the sudden realization but before he could spiral into a pit of nightmarish thoughts, he took a deep breath and assessed his absurd situation. It all began when he met an Immortal Snail, discovered the truth of everything, and was bestowed not one, but two overpowering abilities. (Even though he cheated the other one(unintentionally))

Despite living through countless ages, he took it all in stride, like a pinch of salt. However, the truth about everything he knew shook him to his core, and he couldn't help but grimace as he inadvertently circled back to the thought he was trying to avoid.

The sun cast a warm glow throughout the well-lit classroom, painting a peaceful picture. However, that tranquility was shattered by the boisterous chatter of preteen students, aged between ten and thirteen, who were clearly excited about something. As Nomad looked around, he couldn't help but notice the uncanny resemblance to the classroom from the anime series, Naruto.

"Did Arlon lie to me about hating anime?" Nomad wondered to himself, only to shake his head in denial. He vividly remembered the exaggerated reaction Arlon had given when he had expressed his own disdain for them.

"Still, shoving me in his universe without any heads up is plain irresponsible," Nomad complained about the gods' carelessness. However, he stopped himself moments later, realizing that his complaints would fall on deaf ears. Instead, he turned his attention to the gift bestowed upon him by that divine being.

"I wonder if I can obliterate stars now with just a single punch like that bald man," Nomad mused, clenching his fist in front of him. As he did so, he noticed a significant change in his body.

Nomad gasped, feeling as though he had suddenly shrunk in size. He looked around frantically, searching for a mirror or any reflective surface to assess himself. However, to his dismay, he found none in the classroom.

Turning to the girl sitting beside him, he asked politely, "Excuse me, do you have a mirror I could borrow?" But to his surprise, the girl only glared at him before resuming her previous activity, completely ignoring him. "What's her problem?" Nomad wondered with a dumbfounded expression on his face. "Does this squirt think she's a princess or something?"

Shaking his head, Nomad stood up from his seat and confirmed that he had indeed shrunk in size.

"Arlon said he couldn't reincarnate me, because technically, I have never died even after my universe was destroyed and devoured by the SPHERE. But I know for a fact that I wasn't transferred by the SPHERE since it still had full energy. So, it only means that I was transported, but why did I end up back in time and shrink in size?" Nomad pondered to himself, examining his shrunken hand while standing up from his seat.

Unbeknownst to him, the girl sitting beside him stole a glance in his direction and wondered if he had lost his mind. However, her curiosity quickly turned to alarm when she noticed that the strange kid had started to nosebleed. Without hesitation, the girl slid away from him on her seat, eager to put as much distance between herself and the weird boy as possible.

"Fuck!" Nomad cursed inwardly, his mind tormented by the overwhelming amount of information bombarding him from the compressed knowledge stored by his Ai in his brain. Just now he had commanded it to slowly release information about Arlon's universe, but within an instant, it was almost as if his brain was going to burst from the sheer volume of knowledge.

The pain he felt was excruciating, and he couldn't help but scream internally as his Ai struggled to keep up with his demands. It was a harrowing experience that left him feeling completely drained and overwhelmed.

"Fuck, this gift will be the death of me and end up being useless," Nomad muttered, wiping the blood from his nose with a grim expression before taking a seat once more.

The girl beside him noticed his distress and asked with concern, "Are you okay? Your hair turned white for a moment." Despite her worry, she still maintained an icy demeanor that annoyed Nomad. He remembered her earlier dismissive response to his question and only looked at her with irritation, rubbing his throbbing head in frustration.

"I'm not lying, look, there's still a white patch on your head," the girl insisted, taking out her mirror to show Nomad. But when he checked for himself, the white patch was gone. The girl panicked, especially when she saw the bewildered expression on Nomad's face as he examined his reflection.

Little did she know that he was simply baffled by the sight of his younger, more handsome self before he had accepted the Immortal Snail's contract.

Nomad couldn't help but notice the stark contrast between his previous striking white hair and the now pitch black locks on his head. As he looked at his reflection in the mirror, he couldn't resist muttering to himself how handsome he used to be.

The girl sitting beside him heard his words and assumed he was referring to her making excuses to be close to him. When he smiled and continued to mutter about his appearance, she became even more convinced of her suspicions.

As she gazed upon him, she couldn't help but acknowledge his striking good looks. However, she was only concerned when she witnessed him clutching his bleeding nose in agony, knowing all too well the pains and struggles that come with her own affliction. Despite her empathetic intentions, he misunderstood her intentions and she found herself recoiling with a huff, pivoting sharply away from him, inadvertently brushing her hair against his face in the process.

"Cough" The boy's sudden cough startled her, and her cheeks flushed with even deeper embarrassment as she couldn't help but wonder if he assumed she had intentionally bcaused it. However her thoughts raced even more as he just returned her mirror to her, and the intensity of her shame only grew as she had assumed it all by herself. With a heavy sigh and a slightly raised voice, she blurted out, "You can keep it!"

It was their first meeting in school, and she found herself surrounded by unfamiliar faces. With the exception of a few well-known individuals and a past friend, she was a stranger to everyone else. When a new boy approached her, she couldn't help but assume he was hitting on her, given the number of other guys who had already done so. But after a few minutes of hoping he wouldn't make a move, she realized that he really hadn't even spoken to her. Frustration began to set in, as she watched him just cross his fingers beneath his chin, lost in thought.

Despite being used to receiving attention for her looks, the girl found herself feeling ignored and uncertain of how to react. Irritation and discomfort coursed through her, but she chose to push it aside, unwilling to let her pride be wounded further. She had already made a blunder earlier, and her embarrassment still lingered. She didn't want to talk to him again, especially when the boy next to him appeared to be preoccupied with his own thoughts, paying her no attention at all.

However unbeknownst to her, the boy was preoccupied with a far more pressing matter. He was deep in thought, working to manage the advanced AI that had become a part of him for so long yet ever since he had been transported to the world of Tales of Demon's and God's it has greatly change to exceed its purpose.

"So thats what's happening!" A sudden spark of excitement lit up Nomad's eyes as he realized where he was and what was happening. With a newfound sense of eagerness, he accessed the advanced AI that had evolved within him, now taking on the form of a system he had only ever read about in cringe-worthy novels back then.
