Capítulo 21: History of Lee's: The little girl
Mrs. Lee awoke and saw that Mr. Lee was missing. She went to Yeongyeong's room and asked her about Mr. Lee's whereabouts. She was clueless. In a moment of despair, the butler of the family came hearing the noises and seeing the light in the room. Mrs. Lee's face was pale as she was scared as hell.
Mr. Park suggested that they check the security footage. Upon seeing the security, they found out about Mr. Lee getting a call from an anonymous user. Mrs Lee and the others could do nothing but wait for his return impatiently.
Mr. Lee on the other hand went to that building. There he found a man wearing a black hoodie and a mask. From his voice he looked someone in his mid-thirties.
He gave Mr. Lee a note and ran away. Mr. Lee quickly opened the note which stated that if he wants his empire to remain on the top, he must make a deal. There was a phone number written on the note. Mr. Lee without wasting a moment called on the given number. Someone with bold voice asked him to sell of his sister if he wants to continue living the lush life. Mr. Lee was astoned. He was in a blur. He quickly cut the call. He immediately said to himself, No, Never. I'll never sell my beloved off.
He was firm but as he took his steps weird thoughts approached his mind. He was thinking on the unspeakable. Bad thoughts gathered in his mind. His mind was having second thoughts. He suddenly stopped.
He took out his phone once again. He was about to call that man again but stopped when he saw a group of men harassing a young girl. He felt guilty about his thoughts. He quickly rushed at the spot and helped the little girl. He beat the men and called the police. Afterwards he took the girl to his mansion. The girl was creeped out. Her skin was pale and had bruises. Her lips were blue due to the cold. She was scared. When Mr. Lee went home, he saw Mrs. Lee and Miss Chae Yeong sitting in the living room waiting for him. He saw the worried look aon their faces and he felt even more guilty about that thought. Mrs. Lee quickly rushed over to Mr. Lee along with Chae Young and Butler Park.
Mr. Lee explained what had happened to him and was scared if his sister would despise him. Chae Yeong quickly hugged her brother and said I'm so thankful that you protected me!
The family burst into tears. After a moment Mr. Lee interrogated the little girl. She said in a stammering voice" Don't hurt me...Don't hu rt me Please!!!....Please. I'm sorry. I won't do it again. Please save me...." Mr. Lee comforted the girl and Miss Lee held her hands and started comforting her. Mrs. Lee went on to get the little girl some warm milk. All the little girls were watching her from a far.
She said in a stammering voice that her name was Cara He. She belonged to a prestigious family but after her parents died, her relatives began to treat her poorly and attained all the wealth of her parent's blood and sweat. They would abuse her and harass her. She was even raped by their son but when she told them they treated it like it was just a joke. Later she quarreled and said that if they don't stop their son, she'll call the police. They laughed at her and her uncle took her to the basement and whipped her. He then sold her to some old man to marry. She ran before the marriage and was caught by some goons on the way. That's when Mr. Lee saw her and saved her.
