I turned back to them and pulled some Primal Magic into my hand, and then tried to force it into one of the batteries, but there was little to no interaction with the orb, and the magic just dissipated. Next, I tried changing it with True Magic, converting it into red Chaos Energy, and then back to its original form. While I would be able to use it in that form, I was trying to figure out how it worked in this form.

About ready to throw the damn thing, I tried to absorb the Positive Energy that was left in it, and to my surprise, that came out like nothing. I drained it down till there was an equal part, positive and negative, and then held it up as the two little bits started to become active inside the battery. I had figured out what I could take from them, but now I was curious to know why not all of the Negative had been taken. It had been the same for the other battery that I had touched.
