"Take care of her," Lazarus said that standing next to Darren. Darren looked at them and wanted to retort but he realize that Lazarus was just talking as a concerned father and he held back his tongue.

Kora would have faced the same fate if Lazarus had taken her in and raised her, he made a fine warrior out of her, giving her the best protection that his pack could offer.
