"Your grace, I thank you again for tonight." Annalys said as Charlton helped her up from her curtsy. The 'Valse Bohemenne' just ended, and it was time for the intermission.

"As I said earlier, no need to mention it." Charlton replied with a smile. Then, he asked. "Now, where should I escort you?"

Annalys bit her lip trying to stop the upward tilt of her lips. She wanted to spend more time with Charlton however, she needed to return to Serena's side given her duty. "Your grace, I need to return to her highness' side." She answered.

Charlton's smile widened and his dimple deepened. He has just been waiting for her to mention that. "I see. Then, let me lead you there." he said as he placed her hand at the crook of his elbow.
