Qin Shuang tensed her face, walked into the bathroom mechanically, and closed the door.

Then her face turned a bright red.

Had she gone mad???

Qin Shuang didn't have the courage to look in the mirror; she was definitely insane.

She actually thought He Zhiyao taking a bath was hinting something to her??

Qin Shuang wished she could slap herself, to snap out of it.

Was her brain short-circuiting today?

How could she presume to guess He Zhiyao's thoughts?

And to think she almost made an utter fool of herself.

Qin Shuang closed her eyes in despair.

Then she turned the tap on, plunging her face with cold water, "pattering" herself with the icy liquid until the heat on her face subsided. Only then did she adjust her expression in the mirror, took a deep breath, and opened the door.

He Zhiyao was drying his hair.

She silently pretended not to see him, tiptoeing to the sofa, picked up the book she was reading, and feigned concentration.
