After shopping, we returned to the mansion. Crystal took me to her and Zach's room sweet. I looked around at this mini yet still big room. She and Zach had their own living room, dining room, kitchen, extra bedrooms, a balcony, two bathrooms, and a few other rooms inside. It's a cozy place for a wedded couple.
Since Crystal told me on the way home that she and Zach got married in April whenever they believed I was dead. I was upset I missed it but I know they were getting married this spring while I was in Egypt. Already I knew I was going to miss the wedding but what I didn't know is that they did get married.
"This setup is nice," I said, checking out the place.
"Yup, it beats paying rent whenever you can live in your Uncle's mansion," Crystal declared. "And Zach and I even have a place at my dad's mansion. But it's all temporary until Zach and I can get our mansion built."
Coming from a multi-billionaire family line. Crystal has it easy and Zach's family are billionaires too. Between them both, they had it made.
"I can't wait to see your mansion one day," I said, placing my shopping bags on the living room floor.
"Zach and I are still designing it and gathering ideas," Crystal giggled. "Once it's built you can move in with us."
"That would be cool," I smiled. "I need to start looking for cheap apartments for rent."
"Why?" Crystal elevated a brow, asking. "You know my uncle and aunt will let you live here free of any charge"
"I don't think I can handle being around Orlando any longer," I lour, truthfully.
Crystal was shocked to hear. "But you guys have been doing great together! If Kai doesn't fight this divorce. Then you and Orlando could fix things and get married."
"I never said after I battle a divorce with Kai, that I will go back to Orlando!" I got terse. "Bottom line, he still slept with Ashley!"
Crystal sough, "I understand what you're saying but I know if you give him a chance. You guys can fix things."
"Right now I need time to first fix things with myself," I confided. "I know Kai won't make anything easy on me. Then I have a serial killer after me. Too much has happened recently and I need time for myself, to find a new job, and a place to live."
Unlike Crystal coming from wealth, I had to take the less easy route life hands you.
"My uncle said you can work for him and he said you have a forever home here. Even if things don't work out with you and my cousin. You will always be family," Crystal informed me.
"I know but we should go change and meet the guys at the pool," I said to move on from this topic.
"There's a spare room down the left hall," Crystal directed me with her finger.
I went down to change into my new bikini since we were having a cookout at the pool for something fun to do.
Just after tying my top, my breasts felt too swollen to fit this top and they were only getting more sore. Unfortunately, I didn't try anything on at the store, or else I would've bought a bigger top. I tied the sheer swimsuit skirt around my waist and left the room.
"Hey, Crystal, do you think my boobs look bigger to you?" I asked down the hall only to feel sheepish whenever I found Zach in the living room. Crystal laughed from hearing me in the right hall. She came in as Zach stood up from the couch.
"I'll be at the pool while you ladies examine each other's boobs," Zach said as he opened the door and left.
Crystal and I couldn't stop laughing.
"Alright, let's see them boobies," Crystal straightforwardly blurted.
"They're swollen and tender around here," I showed her with my fingers.
"Are your nipples a darker color?" Crystal asked me.
Her mother is a famous gynecologist so Crystal knew her stuff in the medical field with a woman's body.
"Not too much but my nipples are very sore," I replied. "I'm going to be four weeks late. So I'm thinking it's my cycle."
"Let's untie your top so I can see them," she said.
I uncupped them and she studied them. Then I hissed in pain when she touched the nipple. It was very painful and swollen with this somewhat darker skin tone to it.
"Victoria, I don't think this is your cycle," she told me softly as I was fixing my top.
"Then what is it?" I asked.
"I'm pretty sure you're pregnant," I was shocked when she told me this, and I didn't know what to think.
"All the tests I've taken have been negative," I said, flabbergast. "I'm on the pill."
"Honey, you've been puking and you're eating less and your breasts shouldn't be turning darker," Crystal listed many factors of pregnancy symptoms.
"I can't be pregnant!" I faint on the couch to sit. "Kai has the power to take this baby from me if I am. I'll be trapped with him."
Crystal took a seat next to me. "There are always other options. You can get an abortion or go for adoption."
I disagreed, "I could never. This baby is the only family I have. And I can't hide this baby from Kai. He might be a lousy husband but he'll be a good father. The Collin's are a very close loving family."
"It's your choice," Crystal gently smiled. "We won't let Kai use this baby against you. Nor will we let him take your baby away from you. This is your baby over him. All he did was give you a little sperm but you're the one that carries the heavier work to grow another life in your body."
"Thank you," I dried a tear.
"Let me get you a pregnancy test," said Crystal. "Zach and I have been trying to get pregnant but we haven't had any luck."
"Awe, already trying to start a family," I teased, she giggled and walked away.
I took the test and we both watched the results turn negative. "Again it's saying I'm not pregnant."
"You might need bloodwork and an ultrasound done to know for sure," said Crystal. "A pregnancy test might not work for your type of hormones."
I nodded to understand. Then we meet the guys outside at the pool.
