Capítulo 158: Author here!
Hey, guys. It's been a while since I wrote one of these kinds of chapters, although it might be a bit of a stretch to call it a chapter.
Anyways, as you might have noticed, the novel is back on track (I hope) and I am trying my best to keep to a more regular schedule. Now, if you have been around for some time, you might know that I adore releasing chapters in larger chunks.
To be honest, I just feel stressed when thinking about how much of the story there is left to tell so I don't want to commit myself to a 'one-chapter-a-day' routine. I don't want you to feel like you will have to wait years until you can finally read the end. However, what this also means is that some weeks there will be less, and some weeks there will be more.
Back to the novel itself, I understand that there will be a lot of different opinions on the decision James made, and how he 'took a step back'. In my eyes, he took the largest step forward that he could have, but that's up to you, the reader, to decide on your own.
Now, because I know that it's easy to lose track of what has been happening, and there might be things that I haven't conveyed in a very clear manner, I am writing this to make it possible for you to ask whatever questions you may have. Of course, I won't spoil anything about what will happen, or how certain subtle foreshadowing is going to connect to the future, but I wanted to at least make sure I clear up any misunderstandings or plot holes I might have missed.
As always, a huge thank you for taking the time to read my little story. At a time with a lot of stress with work and uni, your comments almost always manage to bring a smile to my face and it makes it a lot easier to keep writing. No matter if they are comments filled with support, insight, or criticism, I appreciate all of them!
