Capítulo 24: Revenge

Joyce's POV:

Alpha Baron was the most ruthless and unscrupulous person I had ever met. If he discovered this secret, he would imprison her.

By then, my plan would be thwarted.

I couldn't afford to fail again. This time, I had to succeed.

"Has anyone discovered that she's awakened?" I continued to ask. Before I adjusted my plan, I had to obtain all the information.

Gene leaned back comfortably on the recliner. His voice was muffled. "Probably not. She hasn't used it herself. It must be because of Baron and her little boyfriend that she doesn't have the energy to pay attention."

I nudged Gene, who was about to fall asleep. "Speak clearly."

"Come on, man. She separated the two werewolves fighting and threw them away at least twenty feet apart. If she found out that her strength was unusual, she should at least try it on the training ground, right?" Gene gestured excitedly. "But she was busy fighting."
