Cynthia and George looked at her phone's screen and then at each other. 

"I see that you changed his name," George said with an undercurrent of disapproval.

"It was out of respect for my in laws," she said with a straight face and then grabbed her phone and took the call unceremoniously.

"Yes," she said instead of greeting her ex, she paused and listened then peeked at her husband, "An hour later?" she said with her index finger pointing at the table twice.

George shrugged. 

Cynthia looked up at the summer sky seeking divine intervention, "Why not," It was what she wanted this very morning, but now that it was finally happening, she was dreading it. "Yeah, don't forget the lease,"

She rolled her eyes and ended the call.
