Screams came from the women, and the man slammed against the glass door again. He bent down to nurse the wound on his stomach, using his other hand to pull the glass door. "Please help me! He's coming! Please, I don't want to die!"

"I'm sorry, I have children here!" The newcomer—who was actually the owner of the salon—refused to let the man in. It wasn't that she was heartless; it was just… her instincts were screaming at her. Her shaking hands told her to never open the door no matter what happened.

"Get in the back." Darius came behind the owner and held the door in her place. The owner moved out of the way and quickly opened the back room and urge everyone to hide them with her. Adrian didn't want to go, but Rica was quick to push him to safety; even Vivienne was pulling on him.
