Capítulo 90: The backup plan

Adam stayed up even when Nova fell asleep. He couldn't sleep. He didn't need it, though. The night was when he was usually up, and during the day, he would take short naps. 

Adam closed the book he was reading, letting it rest on his lap. He raised his chin up, glancing at the bed where Nova fell asleep. He didn't notice how much time had passed, but what he was certain was that it would be a long night. 

'Just what would any normal husband do if their wife was staying over at another man's house?' he turned his head to the window, sighing, meeting a dead end with that question. 

Of course, it wasn't fine with him, but that was what his wife do. Stopping her from fulfilling her duties would be ridiculous. After all, it was not Luca who asked him for marriage, but him. They got married without knowing each other, so marrying someone on a whim was his fault.
