Capítulo 8: Gojo vs Zenin
" Hello, Tokyo Students. " Todo greeted when Maki, Panda, Inumaki, and Yuta appeared at the Kyoto prefecture training grounds, via teleportation from their all-powerful sensei.
" Todo!? Hey, why are we here, also give us a warning before teleporting us!? " Maki yelled at Gojo.
" Hahaha... No. Also, you're here to watch the fight between me and Naoya. " Gojo told them.
" What!? You and he are going to fight? " Panda exclaimed, pointing at Naoya, the same shocked expression appearing on Maki and Inumaki.
" Yes. " Naoya answered.
" Hello Naoya sensei. " Yuta greeted.
" Sup Yuta. This is the second time we're speaking right? " Naoya asked, shaking Yuta's hand.
" Yeah. But it's fine, stuff happened after all. " Yuta said.
" Ha... so true. " Naoya answered.
" Yo." Maki said, walking up to Naoya," Sorry I don't have a gift on me, but congrats on becoming a special grade. "
" And yet you thought I couldn't do it. " Naoya chuckled, raising his hand for a high five.
" Well, I was dead wrong. " Maki siled, high-fiving him. " But since you're having this match. Can I ask something from you? "
" You want me to punch him for you... " Naoya said, pointing at Gojo.
" Right in the face, multiple times. " Maki said bluntly.
" I was already going to do that, so just sit back and enjoy. " Naoya said with a smile.
" Knew I could count on you. Give him nice a nice one right in the jaw. " Maki suggested.
" I am right here. " Gojo commented.
" I know you are. " Maki said. " Oh yeah, are you still head of Hei? "
" Yep, but that's only because there isn't anyone who could replace me properly. If I was clan head, daddy dearest would be head of the Hei, but I'm not clan head nor do I want to be one. At this point, the title is an accessory because I'm basically cutting myself off but still having the title, so technically yes, I'm head of the Hei. " Naoya explained, Maki nodding her head in understanding.
" Okay. Mai and Momo aren't coming, so everyone is here. " Utahime said as she walked over to the group. " Hello Yuta, Maki, Panda, Inumaki. "
" Hello Utahime sensei. " Yuta and Panda greeted with a wave.
" Well, it's their loss. Now, it's time for action! " Todo exclaimed.
" Yes. Yes, it is. Naoya, I'm tired of waiting. " Gojo said, removing his glasses, pressure decided onto the field, affecting all the students, who tensed up.
" Why do want me to punch so bad? " Naoya asked, genuinely concerned for Satoru's mental state.
" Because I haven't been punched in 10 years! 10 years, but felt like 10,000! There needs someone I know that can keep up with me! " Gojo said. " Now, please let's fight, so you can punch in my perfect jawline! "
" Alright, alright. " Naoya surrendered, walking to the field with Satoru in tow.
" Sensei is... scary. " Yuta commented.
" Yeah. " Maki agreed.
" He's the strongest man on the face of the planet. Though now, he may have a contender for that position. That excites him more than anything else. " Todo said.
" Yeah, but it's also out of desperation. " Utahime said.
There were no words spoken when the two walked onto the pitch, the tension skyrocketed to an all-time high, and the pressure from two titanic forces clashing, made the spectators watching unable to comment. The first move was sudden, swift, and too fast for the weak. Gojo rushed towards Naoya, who punched him in the stomach, blasting him back into the earth behind him, causing a tremor that could be felt by the entire school. This happened in an instant, which felt like just an earthquake happening after a second with no warning.
But the fights had only just begun. The gaping hole in Gojo's stomach was healed instantly due to his automatic reverse curse technique just before he made the impact. Teleporting, he appeared in front of Naoya, his punch already in motion to strike Naoya, who redirected his punch away and aimed an attack at Gojo's face, who simply moved the head to the side to dodge, before retaliating with a roundhouse to the skull.
The two of them dashed around the field, and met each other in the air, both of them having the capacity to maneuver with ease, blow for blow. Naoya could keep up with Gojo's teleportation by using Curse Technique Reversal to instantly get next to Gojo whenever he teleported, but he could only do so when he had a 100% certainty of where Gojo would teleport too.
Gojo knew this as well, so he was keeping Naoya on his toes through the option of a different place to teleport, effectively having an upper hand, though Naoya was starting to catch one, his predictions getting more and more accurate. They didn't know how much time has passed, but they knew for sure the maniacal smiles that wore didn't take long to form.
The use of blue was a tricky one to tackle, as Gojo used it when Naoya decided to go for the kill, using the full extent of Curse Technique Reversal and going for a one-hit kill shot. By using Blue to destroy his hand microseconds after it made contact, Gojo made the sequence null, thus avoiding the hot hit knock out to the head.
He could have died just then, killed by his new bestie and he couldn't have been happier if it happened! But he needed to see his dream through to the end, so it was time to bring out the big boy toys, something Naoya could understand and be proud of, he's finally made his friend serious in a fight against him!
Blow for blow, punch for punch, ripped off arms for gaping chest wounds, these two fought and brutalized each other to the point other spectators needed to come to see the match, even when they didn't want to in the beginning. But this fight couldn't go on forever, there needed to be a winner, so after neutralizing a final Red, getting a 10/10 red neutralization rating, Naoya stopped moving, standing in the middle of the field, a fountain ran down his body.
While on the other end, Gojo looked fresh physically, but was breathing heavily as well and a crazed smile was on both of their faces. Bubbles of laughter came from their lips, they enjoyed the fight, but for others, all they thought about was the fact that they didn't see anything akin to a fight. The only way they know there was a fight between the two monsters is because of the large amount of property damage because none of them could follow the fight, except for Yuta who saw bits and pieces.
