The female assassin was about to take a step forward, but Derek spoke.
"I'm feeling kind so I'll make you all an offer," Derek said with indifference on his face. "Surrender now and swear allegiance to me, and no one else has to die." He said.
Hearing this, the female assassin frowned. She felt the eyes of her subordinates on her, some pleading silently just with their gaze. Everyone could feel that something about Derek was not normal, no man wanted to mess with someone who oozed death alone.
But she was smarter than them, and that's why she knew this was a trap, one her men had fallen for already. A battle is first lost in the mind, and with this little information he had given them he was able to sow the seed of doubt in their heads, killing their fighting spirit.
"I'll lead the attack. You all act as support." She finally said as she took bold steps forward.
"The captain is taking this seriously!"
