The modified Raptor R11 had already been calibrated by Roskov and was ready to be taken for a spin. However, going on a test ride was extremely risky during the evening hours. The machine activity increased manifold just before nightfall and continued to grow throughout the night. They had to wait till midnight to go outside.

As Kevin was admiring Roskov's craftsmanship, he couldn't help but think how expensive some of these parts were. His modified Raptor could easily sell for a few hundred Social Credit Points in the open market. He couldn't help but ask how much it cost him to build this rig.

Roskov smiled and said, "You don't have to worry about the cost. It's on the house. The Professor told me you took down an android on the surface. That's all the payment I need. Those wretched machines have killed a lot of good folks. You just keep the fight going and I'll give you all the supplies you need."
