"You need to hurry, Suzy!" Kevin exclaimed.

"What happened?" Suzy asked, clueless.

"My system just detected an android entering the camp. We don't have much time." Kevin turned around to face the passage leading to the main door and added, "I'll hold the android off for as long as I can. Get the data!"

"Have you gone crazy?" Suzy was furious. She pulled Kevin by his shoulder and turned him around. "We both will leave this camp together. The android hasn't detected us yet, so let's keep it that way."

Before Kevin could utter any word of protest, Suzy walked up to the staircase. She calculated the time it took for the laser trip wire to cover the ten feet distance from the ceiling to the floor. There was a narrow window of opportunity for her to evade the trap.
