"Yes," Ella nodded. "If someone was bothering me, I would definitely tell you so you could help me to make them pay for it." Ella said in a low voice.

Even though Ella said it carelessly, for some reason Christian could feel the sadness from the woman. The sadness made him feel like protecting her. He wanted to protect Ella from anything that hurt her.

Ella just said the sentence carelessly but unexpectedly, Christian answered it seriously. "Hmm…"

Does that mean… if someone is bullying her, Christian will help her?

Ella was slightly stunned to hear that. She doesn't know if Christian is being serious or not.

There was a knock on the door, snapping Ella out of her thoughts. A secretary came into the room with a medicine box that Christian asked for earlier.

Ella tilted her head at the sight of this new figure. Ella had never seen this secretary's face, it seemed this secretary was new.
