"Slow down," Silas called out, chasing me along the dock.
Chepi dodged between my legs, making me stumble, but thankfully I steadied myself avoiding making a spectacle.
"Naughty girl," I scolded, scooping her up into my arms.
Looking over at the brand-new town before me, I felt my heart ready to burst from my chest in excitement.
To celebrate our eighteenth birthday, Fiona promised to take us on a trip to the Mainland. She was after gathering some supplies, so the two happily coincided with each other.
"Land, sweet, glorious land," Fiona grumbled, carrying a large bag behind us.
"Why are you kids so fast?" She complained, finally catching up.
Looking at Fiona, you'd think she was only our big sister, not looking a day over thirty. Only when she spoke I remembered she was old enough to be our great-grandma.
"Where are we going now?" I asked, feeling my feet rock beneath me.
