Capítulo 48: The Truth

"Well, well, well. What do we have here. So I employed you to research about vampires and find out how they can be stopped and all along you knew Lord Alistair here was the vampire", the king said as he looked at the trio in front of him.

"You should keep a better eye on your subjects", Calix said to the king.

"I really should, I have been hit with so many betrayals this week. Who would have thought that the people I trusted would betray me this way", the king mused.

"well I will be leaving now, I will leave you to your affairs. I have to take this runaway vampire back home", Calix said as he stood up and stretched his body. 

"Thanks a lot for your help", the king told Calix.

"no, it is I who should thank you, thank you for bringing this to our attention", a vampire brought forth a parcel and gave it to the king.

The king opened the parcel, it was filled with precious crystals and gold.
