Capítulo 248: A Punishment

Later that same night, Ava and Mason were both lying in bed when Ava said, "I missed you today. You know we spent a lot of time together during our honeymoon, it made me get used to having you around. And today that we weren't together I couldn't stop craving your presence."

Mason smiled. "Me too. While I was at the office I kept looking at my wristwatch, counting down to when work was going to be over." Mason's smile widened and he brought his voice down an octave.

"You know at some point I was tempted to call you and ask you to show up at my office, just the way you did the other time?"

Ava laughed, her cheeks reddening with blush as she remembered the day that Mason was talking about.

"I have the memory of that day locked up somewhere in my head, and I relive it whenever I'm having a long day at the office," Mason said a boyish smile on his face.

"You are so naughty," Ava said swatting his arm.
