Capítulo 154: Nice To Meet You

Ava had just finished having her bath and was applying a moisturizer on her skin when Mason walked into the room.

He was no longer looking angry but Ava knew he wasn't happy either. She felt exhausted and wanted all of this to end already.

"I'm off to Stan's club," Mason said, standing by the door.

"Okay."

"I ordered some food for you, it's in the kitchen. I won't take long, if you need anything, call me."

Mason walked over to where she was seated and placed a kiss on her forehead. "I will see you when I get back."

When Mason got to the door, he turned to look at her and said, "I love you."

"Do you have any idea who could be behind the shooting?" Trevor asked Stan as they all sat in his office playing a game of poker.

Stan brought the glass of rum he was having to his lips and gulped it down.

"Ben Franklin has a lot of enemies, it could have been any one of them."
