"Don't be mad, despite what he said, he will still stand in front of you to protect you from harm's way." Archer stood up and sat down next to Hazel. Her long hair looked a little bit messy.

"Of course, he will. Because I am his king's mate." Hazel said skeptically. "If I am not Micah's mate, you will not care either."

"If you are not the king's mate, we will never meet with each other," Archer said with a chuckle.

"Ah, you are right." Who could meet someone like him and his older brother so casually? If Hazel hadn't met with Micah, who introduced her to this lavish life that she had never imagined she could have, she would be starving on the streets by now or married to one of those douchebags that Greg had recommended.

She certainly would still have been in the grip of the Websters family right now and watched miserably how Stefan and Gaia enjoyed life together...
