Capítulo 135: Because I like everything about you

Claire stopped speaking when she noticed their current position.

Lily was sitting on the hospital bed while leaning back on the headboard and Maven was sitting on the chair beside the bed as he held her hand.

Both seemed to be laughing about something. They were so happy and engrossed that they did not even notice her presence until a few seconds passed. 

Claire stiffened. She suppressed the terrible ache in her chest and turned around to leave, ''I am sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt,'' she turned around and walked away even before she finished speaking. 

Lily looked at the closed door in confusion. 

Maven's eyes narrowed. He let go of Lily's hand and pushed himself to his feet. He patted her head, ''Take rest. I will see you later.'' 

She nodded and he walked out of the room without looking back at her.

Claire slammed the door shut behind her and inhaled a deep breath.
