Alex scowled after listening to Kyle's warning. He knew without doubt Genny hadn't spoken to Kyle because she was worried as he had so simply put it, but rather because she was being clingy and possessive and she knew better than to bring it to his knowledge, hence why she had spoken to Kyle.

There was no way she had done this with the sole intentions of being a good friend.

Alex made a quick decision not to pursue the subject and let Kyle believe what he wanted since Kyle wasn't exactly aware of his affair with Genny — an affair he was definitely going to draw a curtain on before the weekend was over, so she would stop getting on his nerves.

"You still haven't told me what is going on, though. Who was the girl just now? Who is Van? Are you seeing someone?" Kyle asked curiously.

"I'm not."

"Where are you?" Kyle asked as he glanced at his wristwatch. It was past 7 PM by his time, that meant it was around 11 AM over there.
