Declan fell completely silent as he didn't have an answer to Earl's question. He was trying to keep this from her because he knew she would be upset, which could result in premature birth.

The doctor had warned him that the risk had not fully gone away.

"How are you going to deal with the situation?" Earl asked again. "She wants Natasha to visit her. If Natasha does not go see her, she will begin to suspect. How long can we lie?"

"I cannot let her know about it. She cannot take the blow." Declan furrowed his eyebrows.

"She won't stop worrying either."

"I know… I will talk to her. Get ready. We will go out." Declan exited the room.

As he came down the hall, he called Yasmin, who answered the phone immediately.

"Are you coming back?" she inquired.

Declan's lips slightly curled. "Do you miss me?"

"I am bored." She sounded dejected.
