Derrek ran into Declan on his way out of the hospital. "Where is Dad? He is fine, right?"

"Hmm… They are at the villa. Go and rest there." Declan looked exhausted. His eyes were red. Dark circles could also be seen. 

He had not taken a rest the entire night. He could barely keep his eyes open at this point. His body was giving up. It was only his hyperactive brain that kept it going.

He gave him the car key and said, "Never mention the incident to Yasmin, especially Natasha."

He had warned him about it before and said it again.

"I see what you are saying. You don't look good. Rest for a while." Derrek tapped him on the shoulder and walked away.

Declan made his way to the ward.

Yasmin heaved a sigh of relief when she saw him. She stretched her arms, motioning for him to hug her.

Declan took her into his embrace, curling his lips.

"I was worried when I didn't see you," she said. "Where were you?"
