Capítulo 269: Pitiful Attempts

Days Later.

Inside the faculty room, a bespectacled woman with ebony hair was writing down on her desk, looking quite intimidating in her business. She was the only one there now, with all her colleagues calling it a day.

Khalifa, at 24 years old, had become a professor at a university, and most of it had to do with her work ethics and hard work. 

She skipped a few grades and did very well, starting to work full-time when her peers were still preparing for their thesis. 

After finally gaining some independence and freedom from her turbulent childhood, she just wanted to travel the world. Of course, she wasn't rich and she didn't want to depend on her boyfriend so she still got a job as a professor. 

She was naturally recruited in even bigger universities, but she decided to take the offer of the mid tier one because it was a lot more flexible—allowing her to travel a bit more.
