Andromeda hesitated a little. "Xiaofei."

The morning sun slanted through the high windows of Andromeda Kai's office, casting a warm glow across the sleek, minimalist furniture. 

Polished chrome gleamed, and the air held the faint scent of jasmine from the white orchid adorning her desk. Andromeda, impeccably dressed in a tailored black skirt suit, sat behind the desk, a frown creasing her brow as Jian Xiaofei refused to move.

"But, Ms. Kai, are you sure you want to see him?" Jian Xiaofei pressed, her voice laced with concern. The recent incident with Renshu Ru still cast a shadow, and Jian Xiaofei couldn't understand why Andromeda would agree to meet him.

What would Mr. Liu think if he found out? 

She culdn't trust the lips of most of the workers around. Sveral of them were looking for an opportunity to climb the social ladder and found none.
