Capítulo 549: A Farewell

Felix's eyes narrowed at the woman before he shook his head.

"There is no way that I will do it. I know that I am not capable of leading the empire. And if one day, my qualities surpassed my brother, he would give it to me, himself.

If not, I never had the abilities to get it." he announced in a proud voice as his eyes met Alex. 

Alex passed a warm smile and nodded, making Felix feel warm. He always wanted to tell Alex what he felt, but he was always treated like a child. Now that he had a chance, he felt relieved that he used it.

"Anyone else who wanted to take Alex's place?" this time her eyes narrowed on Aurora though she did not address the princess.

"I do not think anyone would have the ability to stand against, Alex. he is a strong knight, holds power and is immensely rich. A rare combination where a single person had everything. Who could stand against him?" Aurora spoke in a cold tone.
