This story is a thrilling ride through a well crafted world. It's a great thing the MC is as intelligent, ruthless and shameless as he is, because that's the only how he survives in these situations.
Maybe others read an older, more original story than this. But it's honestly my first time seeing this attempt at a system/game world hybrid novel, and I love it. The characters are well put together and aren't naive or overly childish. The translation needs a bit of touch-up here and there, but overall, it's a solid 4/5 for me.

Totally new theme and hats off to the author for such amazing detective thinking and game play writing. Keep it coming
I am hooked on this book. The character design and world build is awesome. Certain things take some getting used to and maybe a better understanding of Chinese history and culture would help in relating to some parts but still its captivating. The MC is my kind of personality. Thanks for translating
I really quite like this story, the progression is smooth, and the internal and external conversations are very witty and enjoyable. Being that I'm not Chinese, it took a little bit to adjust to some of the cultural references, though I feel like I have settled in and understand the humor quite a bit more. The author has a clever mind and it presents well. I really enjoy the pace of the story, not too much time, either in or out of the tasks.
I just want to remind people that the author wrote "Don't criticize if you don't like it" in the synopsis. If they can't take criticism, the story isn't worth reading.
