In the deep darkness of space, several bright lights appeared in the backdrop that eventually expanded into the forms of starships as they deactivated their hyperdrives and dropped back into reality.

Finally, the fleet that had departed to join the war at the frontlines between the humans and Xenon had returned to the Solar System!

Although they had been unable to complete their original mission, their safe return was still a welcome and acceptable result.

Upon their initial disappearance, many people had gone into a panic at the thought of losing not only a lot of trained and battle hardened soldiers and smart and capable engineers and whatnot that had been stationed in the fleet, the thought of losing five Paladins at the same time was something unacceptable to the humans!
