"That was very… heroic of you to take my side like that," I said to Max as we entered his company.

He looked at me with a smile. "C'mon, it's time people knew you as my girlfriend."

I smiled back. The staff sure gave us some suspicious gaze and Max called one of the assistants.

"Tell everyone today is a day-off. There's a party in two hours at the Le Bain club and everyone's invited. There's an official announcement I need to make."

I looked at him with a small smile and a shocked face. The assistant nodded and left us alone as he turned toward me.

He noticed my expressions—"What?"

"Le Bain club, seriously?"

"What, you have some other preferences?" He smirked at me as we walked toward his cabin.

"Yes, some less-expensive ones maybe."

"Well, in my defense, I am a billionaire," He shrugged as we entered his office. "And you're my most prized possession. I don't see a reason to not celebrate."
