Meanwhile, Ava immediately opened the velvet box that Samuel gave her when Matthew left.

She sat at the edge of the bed staring at what looked like a ring with a blue diamond-like stone. It sparkled against the dim lighting as if it was luminous. Strange.

She didn't know any blue stone that looked like a diamond yet had a luminous property.

Wearing the ring, she closed her eyes and opened her mind. This is going to be the first time that she would use a relic like this but she was familiar with its uses because of the things that she gained from the Shaman.

"Eve…"

Ava trembled when she heard her father's voice. Eve? He was calling her Eve?

"If you are listening to this then it means that… Gabriella already found you. I don't know the circumstances you are currently in. However, I would like you to know that whatever it is that is happening, you must trust that Gabriella would never harm you."
