Capítulo 258: A Bullshit Excuse

After getting dressed, he went back to check on Erenes who just finished dissolving the body of the assassin using her magick. She was currently having tea not far away from the balcony.

"The night is dark," Kieran said. The absence of the moon and the stars felt ominous to him.

"You should sleep, your highness."

"I can't." Even if he wanted to. Who would dare sleep knowing that another assassin might come anytime? Another witch or a strong Lycan could come anytime and take his life.

"If you wanted Miss Woods to help you then maybe you should do more than wait here. We can talk to her now if you want to."

"They would know if we teleport this place." After his visit to Ava, the Queen immediately send guards to 'secure' this place. Coincidentally, they discovered a few assassins hiding nearby. So, they send witches and Lycans to guard the place and make sure that he is safe from the assassins.
