There was a young mermaid, she was a free willed young one. Always going around anywhere in the vast ocean.

One day, she got curious on an argument she heard while roaming the waters near the shore. She hid behind a big rock.

There was a human girl crying while holding onto a man. She doesn't understand what they were fighting about but the human girl was left crying.

For a few minutes, the little mermaid watched the girl. She was fascinated of how beautiful the human girl was. Her hair reminded her of something....

That's right. The setting sun that she always watched.

The Little Mermaid watched the human girl and the horror came to her when the girl tried going into the ocean to drown herself, however it was stopped because of the little mermaid's rescue.

The human girl was horrified of what she has seen. A human with a half of a fish! A monster.
