Capítulo 200: I get it

"Do you still like the way I look at you?" He repeated his question. "Please..." He was confined to crying out as she was keeping silent. The white woman looked at him and lowered her eyes.

"I still like the way you look at me," she admitted.

"What about the way I touch you?" He wrapped her waist and pulled her close and to his surprise, she pushed back.

"Lucas," as if it was something wrong she called his name.

"We are married." He smiled insincerely with pain written on that smile.

"I don't like your touch anymore."

"Okay," he looked at the sky and let silence take over for a moment. "One last question," he didn't look her way but he could feel her gaze on him. Her silence determined her answer so he went ahead. "If you were given a pill to forget all about me, will you take that pill?" He asked.
