Capítulo 217: A difficult decision

It didn't take Pop and Marli long to arrive at the hospital.

"Here he is." The nurse said when she opened the door to the hospital room I was resting in.

The dizziness I felt earlier has subsided a bit, and I feel strong enough to leave the room.

"Sly!" Pop and Marli ran into the room.

"You are here already?" I slowly stood up from the chair to avoid the dizziness that overtook me when I did so.

The nurse left immediately she confirmed I know who they are.

"Where is he?" Marli closed the distance between us.

"I've not seen him since I came to this place. Let's go, together."

"What of his children? Are they okay?" Pop asked.

This was my first time of seeing her act and talk in this manner.

The Pop I knew was never this calm and collected.

"The kids are okay."

I just hope the surgery was successful.

"Were they also—"

"Yes, they were."
