It seemed that Leah and Marion's goals did not go smoothly without Jeremiah's hindrance. The man seemed to be blocking Marion's path with his hands resting on his waist.
"Where are you going, hm? To see the man?" Jeremiah shoots at his daughter who is groomed and ready with Leah.
Leah just shrugged, then took a few steps back, not wanting to interfere with the father-daughter feud that was unfolding before her. She was just a loyal spectator, watching how Marion not only conquered William, but also her father.
"Dad, I was just visiting him and making sure he was okay. Since when did you become so cruel?" asked Marion, annoyed. Jeremiah also regrets having brought up William's problem in front of his daughter.
He just didn't want Marion to get hurt again.
"I don't want you to make the wrong decision. Once you're there, you'll never get out. You know that, right? The guy's okay anyway. He's just being spoiled and looking for your attention."
