As she busied herself in the kitchen, she noticed him hovering around her, trying to get her attention. "Okay, you need to go away now and not disturb my cooking," she said firmly, pushing him away. 

"But I just want to stay here with you." he insisted, hugging her tighter. 

"You're making it difficult for me to cook, Qin Yufeng," she said in a serious tone. "Plus, you stink."

Qin Yufeng: "..."

As she had her back to him, Qin Yufeng was unable to see the mischievousness in her eyes or her playful smile when she said that. Hearing her words, he took them seriously and quickly stepped away from her. Smelling his armpits and body, he tried to check for any body odor. 

When Bai Liyue turned around, she saw Qin Yufeng's face scrunched up with worry, and she couldn't resist laughing. Her laughter echoed through the room as she leaned against the counter. 

"Hahaha," she laughed, "Qin Yufeng, you are so adorable."
