The old man blinked twice before bursting out in laughter. He nodded and said, " You have a good sense of humour, lass. " Then suddenly his face turned serious and he said, " But yes, you caught that correctly. Now you will pass out, and I will kidnap you and get your married with my grandson."

Ning Mei looked at the old man, for a second before taking another bite from the cake.

The next second, the man rolled his eyes and waved his hand saying, " Nahh. I was just kidding."

" I know. " She murmured.

" But I indeed brought two slices of the cake here and riled you up to take one from me, so that I could start a conversation with you." The man blatantly confessed.
