"Promise me this one thing...if ever your heart wavers, if ever there is the slightest doubt in your heart...be sure to let me go." Neveah murmured in a low tone.

These were the exact words she had said to Menarx on that day, she had not expected that it would all come to be exactly as she had predicted.

'My greatest flaw is knowing my own fate well enough, yet I still try anyways.' Neveah thought to herself.

Menarx shook his head, his eyes reflected his unwillingness and disagreement but the finality in Neveah's tone was clear to all ears.

The council and everyone around them had become a forgotten matter at this point, when it came down to it, this fate and this path shared by them both.

"You also promised me that you would not let go of my hand." Menarx insisted, grasping at straws.
